Maybe a tad dramatic but you get the point. Vaping, like most battery powered technology, has been held back to a degree by battery capacity, luckily for us – necessity is the mother of invention. With the recent surge of 20700 and 21700 batteries, vapers are being given access to a power source that matches their needs.
All of the 18650, 20700, and 21700 vape batteries get their name from their size dimensions. An 18650 battery has an 18mm diameter and a 65mm length, with a 20700 battery having 20mm diameter and 70mm, and the slightly larger 21700 battery being almost the same size as the 20700, but 21mm in diameter. On the face of it these dimensions are quite similar. The difference in performance however, is very noticeable.
