Deep in the depths of Dorset, among the birds and the trees; there lives a lot of eLiquid people, and they’re called Digby’s! Sadly, Digby’s aren’t the Poddington Peas, and they haven’t yet got their own theme tune (yet).
Digby’s have been hard at work extending their eLiquid range for 2017, having culled numerous flavours from their line-up; even some of the fan favourites! Bold moves on Digby’s part there. Sadly there’s no longer Mum’s Custard or Apple Cinnamon, Hooligan or The King; with the only two flavours making their way through the TRPR shakedown being Dr Jekyll and Moriya’s Mix.
Nevertheless, Digby’s have been hunkering down in their mixing bunker of vapeness, concocting some additional flavours to add to their range.
Dr Jekyll harks back to those days in Victorian London; Horse-drawn carriages, top hats & tails, patchwork humans of the dead … Ok, maybe let’s skip past that one. Dr Jekyll features a strong aniseed taste as its basis, along with notes of Wormwood; a plant with a distinctive aroma that’s well known as an ingredient in Absinthe.
When used within a refillable tank system, Dr Jekyll features a blend of these two main flavours, but when used with an RDA or dripper, Mr Hyde shows his true form; evolving Dr Jekyll into a monstrous mix of the aforementioned Anise and Wormwood, along with a bitter mint undertone and Citrus zing! A unique flavour blend for those who may be searching for something a little different.
The other flavour returning for Digby’s 2.0 Redux range is their Moriya’s Mix; a fervent blend of Menthol and Eucalyptus.
It’s said to be a great nose-clearer on a stuffy day, with the strong flavours of both the Eucalyptus and the Menthol providing a powerful taste sensation on the tastebuds.Digby’s themselves recommend that users who would usually vape 18mg should try moving down a strength with this eLiquid as Moriya’s Mix can have quite a strong taste, even for high nicotine users. We’re still not entirely sure who Moriya is why this is their mix, but knowing Digby’s its origins and meaning are just as cryptic and mysterious as some of the other names of their flavours!
Not only a small commune in the Novelle-Aquitaine region of Central France, made famous by Richard the Lionheart and the Siege of 1416, Ayen is also a Tobacco blend from our Digby’s in Dorset!
Ayen (the Digby’s version) is one of their newest flavours for 2017.
Taking the the familiar and basic Tobacco flavour that eCigs are known for, Digby’s have blended this with prominent notes of both Chocolate and Caramel.
Widely known for being sharp, pointy, and something thorny that you’d rather not fall into, Bramble bushes also are known for producing the incredibly tart and sweet Blackberry fruit, as well as a number of ornamental species that can be grown for their flowering petals.
This Bramble, on the other hand, is a Juniper & Gin-based blend that also features Cane Sugar and Blackcurrants; adding both sweet and fruit layers to this vape.
Finally Bramble is finished with a cooling layer of mentol, adding a fresh tingle to this blend.
Probably harbouring the least appealing sounding name of Digby’s 2017 range, Stalker conjures up thoughts of a foggy Victorian night with the Ripper lurking around the next corner; ready to strike!
Instead, Stalker by Digby’s is quite reminiscent of their earlier Gunpowder eLiquid.Stalker could probably be considered a sort of Gunpowder V2, as it contains quite a similar
Stalker could probably be considered a sort of Gunpowder V2, as it contains quite a similar flavour profile.
Definitely for those fans of Liquorice and Anise, Stalker contains a sweet Aniseed blend that’s also mixed with notes of citrus giving it a tart bite.
It’s definitely a juice to be following around…
Less of a joke and more of a complex blend of flavour notes, Jester eLiquid by Digby’s is new for 2017, and it’s certainly no laughing matter.
It features a blend of a variety of exotic tropical fruits, bringing their natural sweetness to the forefront of the flavour.
These citrus notes are then blended with Menthol for a cooling after note.
Definitely not the sleep crust that we wake up most days (although it is spelt exactly the same), Digby’s have chosen the alternative name for Rhubarb for this eLiquid flavour blend.
Rheum is characterised by its blend of both Vanilla and tart Rhubarb, along with a pie crust element to add that bit of crumble in there.
We just wish they called it something different!
