The Aspire Gotek X vape kit is a matchbox-style pod that’s a good option for those after something compact to vape on the go. Its built-in 650mAh battery allows for long vaping sessions between charges and can be recharged in under an hour with a USB-C cable. Its low power output range of 10-13W will support MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping, however, the airflow control slider allows for a Restricted Direct To Lung (RDTL) style inhale too.
The Gotek X features Aspire’s ASP Chipset, which simpifies setup by detecting the resistance of your pod's built-in coil and working out the best wattage to vape at. It also provides several safety features including protection against overcharge and short circuits. Thanks to inhale activation, you won’t have to fiddle around with multiple buttons to get stared; just puff on the mouthpiece to vape and your device will create a discreet amount of vapour for an MTL inhale that feels similar to a cigarette. The kit also contains a handy lanyard holder that allows you to easily access your Gotek X when you’re on the go.
The refillable Gotek pods are easily filled via a stopper on the side for less mess. Its adjustable airflow feature allows you to switch between a tighter or looser draw for a vape that suits you. The built-in coil has a 0.8 Ohm resistance, so it works best with 50% VG e-liquid or higher PG options.
Charge Your Aspire Gotek X Kit
Your kit might not arrive fully charged, plug it in to recharge using the cable provided. A full charge will take a little under 1 hour
Remove The Gotek Pod From Your Kit
Your pod may arrive pre-installed, remove it from the kit in order to fill it. You won’t need any tools to do this.
Fill Your Gotek Pod
With the pod removed from your kit, locate and remove the small orange rubber insert from the side to reveal the filling port. Refill via this port only.
Reassemble And Reinsert Your Pod
After filling, insert the rubber bung back into your pod firmly and then put the pod back into the kit.
Prime Your Coil
Leave your kit and pod standing upright for 10 minutes. This gives the coil time to soak in the e-liquid and is known as “priming your coil”.
Vape Your Gotek X Kit
Inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping with your kit, when you do, it will produce a small amount of vapour for an MTL inhale.

Refillable and boasting a built-in coil, the Gotek X pods will last around a week on average. You can refill them multiple times and know it's time to switch to a new one when you notice a slightly burnt taste. When the time comes, you can replace the entire pod rather than just the coil.
The Aspire Gotek X works best with 50% VG or higher PG e-liquids, with nic salts being a popular choice. To get you started, the kit includes a bottle of Maryliq nic salt e-liquid in a flavour of your choice.
The Aspire Gotek X is inhale activated, so you can simply puff on the mouthpiece to vape. You can also press and hold the button to vape if that’s what you prefer.

Once your Gotek X is fully charged it’ll stop charging automatically and its LED light will flash white 20 times to indicate this.

Heavy smoker decided to give up and try a vape previous attempts failed miserably! Took to this vape straight away and haven’t smoked for 4 weeks now! The battery lasts easily a full day at work and the pods have lasted me roughly 2 weeks. Very handy and easy to use don’t normally write many reviews but this product deserved one! Love this vape, bought it as my other had charging issues, liked this one so much I got a second. Comfortable to hold, reasonable price for the pods and they last over a week with regular use. No leaking as long as you ensure the silicone plug is in properly (iv had it a while now with no issues) just awesome!

Love this vape battery lasts for a day roughly if fully charged so much easier to refill than previous mod tanks/vapes ive used I would highly recommend buying this vape over elfbars gold bars etc it will save you hundreds per year.. My only moan is my current Gotek X kit has broken so had to buy another from another shop locally and I only bought the original at the end of january but for 9.99 I really cant grumble considering id be spending that every 2 days on 2 for 10 goldbars from the corner shop. Definitely buy this vape it will save your pocket in the long run and always make sure to clean your pod chamber for moisture a few times a day.

Battery lasts more than a day and you can tell when it's fully charged when it flashes, which helps. There's also many colours to choose from which I love. All together perfect to get off disposables because of how simple it is to put together.

I really didn’t except much for a tenner but I have to say I’m very impressed, really decent vape with decent quality long lasting coils. I have a bigger pod device from a different brand but I needed something that was more discrete and more portable, anyway I have really enjoyed my vaping experience with this device and it have exceeded my expectations. My only reason for knocking off 2 stars is I wish it had a bigger battery and bigger tank but that’s just me. If you are coming off disposable vapes I seriously can’t fault this device for that purpose, also try Riot Bar e-liquids to pair with the device for that scenario, good quality liquids made in the UK. Anyway pull the trigger you won’t regret it!

I really like this vape. Only drawback was the battery doesn't last for ages but I chain vape when I'm working. I think this is probably to be expected from a battery this size. It isn't intended for chain use I don't think. I think it's target audience is more for people going to socials and replacing cigarettes. I have brought it out with me and it hasn't lasted the whole night but I like to vape a lot and because of this I have another vape I keep on charge; whether it's plugged into my computer or a portable battery pack I keep in my bag.
The pods are convenient and don't tend to burn out too quickly. It's light and fits into your pocket easily. You might forget it's there until you fetch your phone or wallet. It's an automatic draw which is neat but I will say that if you're somebody that likes to vape denser liquids at a higher rate and buying large volumes of liquid for a lower price you're out of luck. Much like any vape of this size you're looking at filling it with equal or higher PG liquids (50VG50PGs); but this is usually the case with a system of this size. A way I combatted this is to mix Pure PG into my 70vg liquids to decrease the viscosity to a more acceptable level so that the vape could take my big liquids but I really don't know if this is advisable so please DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH before you even think about doing this. There are 50vg 100ml liquids available so that's another option but I think this vape is intended for a person looking for little hits and trying different 50vg 10ml 3 for £10 kind of liquids and that's fine.
Another pro I found is that the pod is very clean to fill. You probably won't even need to use a microfiber cloth for a week or two whereas I find myself wiping down my other vape upon every refill.
I haven't got a lot more to say other than this is a good product for the price point. If you're quitting smoking it's probably a good place to start ( I did and I haven't smoked for about 3 or 4 months, couldn't feel better for it).
Other than that I have a recommendation: The product provides you with a free Elfiq liquid. I'm not going to comment on their products because I think I had one and I don't remember my experience with it. I will say that if you're new to vaping and this site then consider trying the Large liquids 3 for £10. Kiwimelon, Pecanilla, Donut Worry, Berry N'Ice and Apple Nutter are all great choices. Banana Haze is also worth a look if that's what you're into. I would comment on Orange 'o' tang and the others but I have yet to try them. Happy Vaping!
